These days, when it comes to choosing pieces for my wardrobe, a big must for me is comfort. Style is second on my list. Now that I am a mom, practical pieces make so much more sense for my lifestyle. As I multi-task through my day, whether that means heading to the office, attending a meet-up or happy hour after work or simply running around with the kids, I like knowing that the clothes I'm wearing are not only relaxed and comfortable but also stylish enough to take me through all my daily activities.

Take a look at these 3 chic looks that are not only on trend but also perfect for on-the-go mommies like you and me!.

Casual Chic

Who said casual couldn't be chic?! In this look I'm wearing wide leg striped pants from New York & Co. I love these pants because they are loose fitting and hide my lumps and bumps, which I haven't quite gotten rid of since giving birth. A staple piece in my wardrobe is an oversized button up shirt which goes with almost anything. I can wear it to work, or dress it up or down. This shirt also does wonders for covering up trouble areas like post baby tummy, while still being on trend. I've accessorized this outfit with an olive green bomber jacket (the orange inner lining adds a nice touch don't you think?), a thick gold chocker, reflective lens aviators in rose gold, a delicate triangle bracelet and some chunky rings. You can add your won flavor of accessories to any outfit to make it your own.

Dressy-Preppy

The preppy look usually isn't as dressy, but you can certainly pull this look off with ease. Here, I've combined a black flared skirt from Bolton's with a basic black turtleneck sweater from H&M. What really gives it the preppy feel and look is the varsity jacket which everyone is wearing oversized now, which is even better for moms post partum still working on that baby weight. I can definitely take this look from day to night. Adding the polka dot sheer stockings with boots adds the finishing touches.

Sporty Edgy

This look is more of an everyday, running errands, soccer mom type look. It's basically leggings with a t-shirt. It doesn't get any simpler than that. To add my own unique touch, I opted for Chelsea Boots instead sneakers, a leather jacket, vintage sunglasses and topped the outfit off with a scarf tied around the neck for a choker effect. Stay Fierce mommies!!
